Join us for live holiday music at Hibbing’s 6th Annual Holiday Maker Market on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 3:00–8:00 PM at The Do You (214 E Howard Street, Hibbing, MN).

This vibrant evening market features dozens of local makers offering artwork, crafts, jewelry, baked goods, woodwork, stained glass, metal art, candles, holiday décor, and so much more—perfect for finding unique, handmade gifts.

Throughout the event, enjoy live Christmas music performed by Crescendo, adding festive cheer as you shop and explore. Guests can also enjoy appetizers, burgers, and drinks from The Do You, making it a cozy and lively place to spend a winter evening.

With vendors ranging from painters and bakers to blacksmiths and woodworkers, the Holiday Maker Market offers something for everyone. Support local artisans, enjoy live music, and get into the holiday spirit!

Celebrate the season at the Hibbing Public Library’s Fantastic 50s Yuletide Festival, a free, family-friendly event packed with holiday fun! From 4:00–7:00 PM, enjoy visits with Santa, a book giveaway, festive crafts, goodies, and a nostalgic drink bar featuring hot cocoa, coffee, and soda floats.

If weather permits, horse-drawn wagon rides will run from 4:30–6:30 PM.

At 5:00 PM, Crescendo will present a beautiful holiday performance by two harpists and a string quartet, offering an elegant and intimate musical experience perfect for the retro holiday atmosphere. Their live music will set the tone for the evening and lead into the Hibbing City Band performance at 6:00 PM.

Celebrate the season with the Crescendo Youth Orchestra! Our Christmas Concert on Monday, December 1 at 7 PM in the Hibbing High School Auditorium is a heartwarming event perfect for families, friends, and music lovers of all ages.

Tickets are $8 for adults and $3 for kids, students, and seniors.

Bring your loved ones, enjoy the holiday spirit, and support our talented students as they share their passion for music!

Come join us at the Hibbing High School Auditorium at 7:00 pm on Monday, April 28th for our Spring Concert! From our beginners in the Intermezzo Orchestra to our High School & Community Members in the Encore Orchestra, it will be music to your ears! We are also welcoming back the Crescendo Symphony Orchestra with large orchestra works including woodwinds, brass, and percussion.

Musicians please arrive at 6::15 pm at the Hibbing High School library for warm ups, pictures and last minute instructions. Please wear concert blacks from head to toe and bring your instrument and concert music.

Bring your Valentine for a very special evening during which you will hear performances by Crescendo Youth Orchestra’s very talented students while enjoying a sweet treat. All money raised will go toward scholarships for our hard working musicians. You will find the registration link under the Calendar tab.

Join us on September 6th, from 8:00 am until 1:00 pm when Crescendo Youth Orchestra will be hosting a table during the Lincoln Elementary School open house event. We will get you up to speed on everything you need to know to be a brand new string player, orchestra rehearsal and concert dates, instrument rental, lessons and more.

This concert will be at the HHS auditorium. Musicians please be in the HHS library at 5:30 for practice. Remember to wear your concert blacks from head to toe. Musicians will be able to leave their belongings in the library, but be prepared to keep any valuables with you (you may stow valuables beneath your chair while on stage).

Are you interested in learning how to play a string instrument?  Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass?

Do you already play a string instrument, but want to play with other string musicians.

Crescendo Youth Orchestra is starting for this school year for new and experienced string musicians.

Open house and registration will be Tuesday, September 15 at Lincoln Elementary School from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm. 

Students can choose to play violin, viola, cello and bass.
